The company was established to accelerate adoption of clean, efficient, and affordable cooking solutions in Uganda, mitigating the impact of climate change, deforestation, indoor air pollution, and sustainable agriculture through the use of organic fertilizers.

Who We Are
Bold Biogas Limited is a leading Energy Service Company (ESCO) dedicated to delivering clean, affordable, and sustainable cooking solutions. We Manufacture, design, install, and maintain domestic and institutional biodigesters that turn organic waste into renewable biogas and also deal in energy-efficient pressurecooker that minimizes energy usage — empowering households and businesses with energy-efficient, low-carbon fuel while reducing deforestation, waste and improving air quality.
Our Target
Our target market comprises 1.6 million households located within Uganda’s
cattle corridor, where over 80% of these households own five or more cows.
Despite this resource, the majority still rely heavily on solid biomass primarily
firewood, to meet their daily cooking needs. Bold Biogas aims to harness the
untapped potential of livestock waste to provide these communities with
cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable biogas solutions.
Bold Biogas Limited collaborates closely with government extension workers,
dairy farmers, cooperatives, and other key agricultural stakeholders to integrate
biodigester technology into everyday farm operations. This approach delivers
multiple benefits, including clean cooking energy and nutrient-rich organic fertilizer,
and efficient waste-to-energy solutions, enhancing both household livelihoods
and agricultural productivity.
